🎪 HOW THE CHINESE AUCTION WORKS

If you’ve never participated in a traditional Pennsylvania Chinese Auction, here is how easy it is to play:

1. Browse the Baskets: Walk through Pavilion 1 and view dozens of themed baskets. Every item or basket has a dedicated collection cup placed in front of it.

2. Prep Your Tickets: Write your First Name, Last Name, and Phone Number clearly on the back of each ticket.

3. Drop & Win: Place your tickets into the collection cups for the specific baskets you want to win. You can put all your tickets into one cup for a major prize or spread them across multiple baskets!

4. The Live Drawing: Winning numbers will be drawn live on Sunday, September 26th at 4:00 PM in Pavilion 1 alongside alongside the Sunday Car Show Display Day festivities!

💡 PRO-TIP FOR GUESTS: SAVE YOUR HANDS!

Writing your name and phone number dozens of times can cause a serious hand cramp! We strongly encourage attendees to bring:

• 🏷️ A sheet of small custom return address stickers, or

• 📑 A personalized mini rubber stamp (with a quick-dry ink pad)!

⚠️ CRITICAL TICKET NUMBER RULE:

The paper tickets measure 1 inch by 2 inches. Your sticker or rubber stamp MUST NOT COVER THE PRINTED TICKET NUMBER on the front or back of the ticket. Our drawing team must be able to read and match the official printed ticket serial number to verify the winner. If a sticker covers the number, the draw may be invalidated!

📜 RULES & PRIZE PICKUP

• You Do NOT Need to Be Present to Win! Because your phone number is printed on your ticket stub, our volunteer team will call or text you if your number is drawn on Sunday afternoon.

• Photo ID Required: To protect our winners and prevent mix-ups, you must present a valid government-issued photo ID matching the name written on the ticket stub when picking up your prize.

• Pickup Deadline: All prizes must be retrieved from Bushkill Park by Sunday at 6:00 PM, or arrangements made for local pickup.

🩺 SATURDAY FEATURED HIGHLIGHT: THE "HERO BASKET"

On Saturday, September 25th (First Responders & Healthcare Appreciation Day), we feature an exclusive, high-value "Hero Basket."

• 100% Direct Benefit: 100% of all ticket sales dropped into the Hero Basket cup go directly to the First Responder Chaplain Corps (FRCC), providing vital mental, emotional, and spiritual support services to front-line emergency responders and healthcare workers.

🎁 CALL FOR DONATIONS: SHOWCASE YOUR BUSINESS OR ART!

We rely on the generosity of local businesses, crafters, artists, and community members to make our auction a fundraising success! Donating an item or basket is a fantastic way to showcase your business or artwork to thousands of weekend attendees.

Great Items to Donate:

• 🍽️ Gift cards to local shops, salons, gaming cafes, or restaurants.

• 🛠️ Professional service vouchers (auto detailing, photography sessions, art commissions).

• ☕ Themed hobby baskets (Coffee/Tea lovers, Movie Night, Fursuit Care/Hygiene kits, Spooky/Halloween decor, Local PA artisan products).

📧 How to Donate: If you or your business would like to donate a basket or prize item, please email us at BushkillParkandGrove@gmail.com. We can arrange pre-festival pickup or drop-off!

Bring your cash, prep your stickers, keep those ticket numbers visible, and good luck! 🎟️🎃✨
