At Coffee & Christ, we have a simple message for anyone who has ever felt cast out, misunderstood, judged, or told they don't fit in: You belong here—exactly as you are.
We know that many individuals in alternative subcultures, the furry fandom, and the LGBTQ+ community carry deep wounds from traditional religious spaces. You may have been made to feel like the "black sheep" of your family, your community, or your former church.
We don't just tolerate the black sheep—we love the black sheep.
Coffee & Christ is a gentle, trauma-informed, and unconditional fellowship where you can explore faith, ask hard questions, heal from spiritual harm, or simply enjoy a warm cup of coffee surrounded by people who love and accept you without hidden agendas or rigid dogma.

☕ 1. Informal Coffee Hours & Open Discussions
Relaxed, low-key coffee gatherings where we talk about life, mental well-being, spirituality, identity, and community support in an informal, round-table setting.
🤝 2. Gentle Listening & Pastoral Mentorship
Offered in partnership with Inclusive Marriage Moments (IMM) and Positive Peer Mentoring (PPM), we provide 1-on-1 empathetic listening for those processing religious trauma, grief, personal struggles, or identity reconciliation.
🕊️ 3. Affirming Prayer & Blessing Station
A quiet space where attendees can ask for private prayer, a gentle blessing, or simply a peaceful moment of silent reflection away from the noise of the midway.
🎪 THE FURFEST & BUSHKILL PARK CONNECTION
Coffee & Christ is proud to provide a quiet, affirming presence during FurFest at the Grove 2027!

☕ Sunday Morning Fellowship & Devotional Service: Join us on Sunday morning at 10:00 AM at the Stage inside the Carousel Banquet Hall for a gentle 30-minute gathering before festival hours open.

🕊️ 2027 Service Theme: "Loving yourself even if you feel like a monster on the midway—and in your life."

🥐 Coffee & Snacks: We encourage attendees to bring a warm cup of coffee, tea, or a light snack to enjoy during the service. The service concludes by 10:30 AM, giving everyone plenty of time to head over to the Roller Rink for the Bushkill Beats Dance-Off Tournament!

🎟️ Badge Requirement: Attendees must have already picked up their FurFest badge (during Friday or Saturday registration hours), as the registration desk is not open at 10:00 AM Sunday.
