Navigating the Historic 1902 Midway

These rules apply to all guests attending FurFest at the Grove, featuring Music in the Park and the Monsters & Musicians Car Show, September 24–26, 2027.

Terrain & Wheelchair Accessibility

Bushkill Park is a historic, outdoor venue. Attendees should be prepared to navigate a mix of terrain, including paved paths, loose stone/gravel, grass, and wooden decks.

Building Access: All main buildings are wheelchair accessible. While Hilarity Hall does have an upstairs section, wheelchair users are able to bypass the stairs and still enjoy the facilities.
Service Animals: Service animals are welcome. Pets are not permitted on festival grounds, with the exception of trained service animals.

⚠️ Sensory Warnings (Please Read)

FurFest and Music in the Park is a vibrant, loud, and active festival. Attendees will experience live bands, multiple DJ stands, revving engines from the Car Show, and vintage flashing lights.

No Quiet Zones: Please be aware that there are no silent areas on the festival grounds. Even the Roller Rink and Mom & Pop's Café will have music playing constantly.
Preparation: If you or someone in your group is easily overstimulated, earplugs or noise-canceling headphones are highly recommended.
Sensory Breaks: If you need a quiet break, we recommend stepping outside the main gate or visiting your vehicle. Re-entry is permitted with your official badge or hand stamp.

🎒 Food, Beverage & Bag Checks

No Outside Food or Drink: To support the park's fundraising efforts, outside food, coolers, water cases, and alcohol are strictly prohibited.
Security Check: FurFest badge holders will have bags and props checked at the White Tent upon entry. General public attendees checking in through the main $5.00 cash entry lanes are subject to standard gate screening.
Dining & Hydration: Food and specialty beverages can be purchased at the historic Mom & Pop's Café, as well as from the various Food Trucks listed on our Vendor page (menu prices vary). Free tap water is available at Mom & Pop's Café, and specialized hydration vouchers are available for fursuiters inside the Headless Lounge.

🚭 Park Policies & Smoking

Smoking Policy: Smoking and vaping are permitted only in designated outdoor smoking areas. Please be respectful of families, children, and fursuiters, and dispose of all cigarette butts properly in the provided receptacles.

🚑 Health, Emergencies & Weather

First Aid: A basic First Aid station is located near Mom & Pop's Café.
Lost & Found / Lost Children: Any lost items (wallets, phones, fursuit props) or lost children should be brought immediately to Mom & Pop's Café—please ask for Sue.
Weather Policy: The festival is Rain or Shine! Many of our pavilions are fully roofed, and bands will often continue playing in the rain. However, outdoor vintage rides will shut down for safety in the event of heavy rain or thunderstorms. In severe weather, attendees may seek shelter inside the Carousel Banquet Hall or the Roller Rink or choose to leave the park.
