FURFEST AT THE GROVE: MASTER EVENT DOCUMENTATION
The Complete Attendee Handbook, Legal Policies, and Operational Guidelines Last Updated: Season 2026
đ WELCOME TO FURFEST AT THE GROVE! đž
Join us for an unforgettable weekend of furry fun at FurFest at the Grove, happening annually the weekend after Labor Day. For example, if Labor Day is Monday, September 7, our event is Friday the 11th to Monday the 14th. We have multiple meeting places. The main meeting location is at the historic Bushkill Park and Grove in Easton, PA! FurFest is a mini furry convention that offers live bands, DJs, food trucks, skating, dancing, vendors, and community. Nestled next to the exciting Music in the Park Festival Fundraiser, it promises an array of activities, entertainment, and opportunities to connect with fellow furries and make lifelong friends.

1. Eligibility & Age Requirement: All attendees must be at least 18 years old to participate in the event. Attendees for the Saturday after-party must be 21 years or older. Valid government-issued photo identification is required for entry. 2. Registration and Payment: Attendees must complete the registration form available on the FurFest portal. A unique, individual portal account is required for each attendee. Badge purchases cannot be made on behalf of others through your account. Payments are accepted via credit card or PayPal only. 3. Code of Conduct: Attendees must behave respectfully towards one another. This includes no harassment, physical intimidation, verbal abuse, or discriminatory behavior, and seeking explicit consent before any physical contact or taking photographs. Violations may result in warnings, removal, or a permanent ban. 4. Liability and Waiver: By attending, you acknowledge and accept the inherent risks associated with participation, including injury, emotional distress, or loss of property. You release and hold harmless FurFest, Panda Playhouse, its employees, volunteers, sponsors, and representatives from any claims, with the exception of gross negligence or intentional misconduct. 5. Media Consent: You grant FurFest permission to use photographs, videos, or audio recordings taken during the event for promotional purposes. If you do not wish to be photographed, notify the Organizer in advance and use the provided "no photo" stickers. 6. SECTION 3: BADGE PURCHASE AGREEMENT & REFUND POLICY
The "No Refunds or Returns" Policy
At FurFest at the Grove, we are dedicated to delivering an exceptional experience. Due to the complexities of event planning and the financial impacts associated with cancellations, we have implemented a No Refunds or Returns Policy. This applies to:
-
Event Badges: All badge purchases are final. No refunds or exchanges will be permitted.
-
Hotel Reservations: All hotel bookings for the event are non-refundable and cannot be transferred to other attendees.
-
Merchandise: All event merchandise sales are final. No exchanges or returns will be accepted for any items purchased.
Alternative Options: If unforeseen circumstances (e.g., medical emergencies, family crises) prevent your attendance, we are open to discussing options for rescheduling or transferring your badge on a case-by-case basis at the discretion of FurFest staff. Please contact us to explore available options.
Purchase Agreement & Verification
-
Community Check (Vetting): You must pass your community check prior to purchasing a badge/hotel. For new portal accounts, allow up to 48 hours for this process.
-
Transfer and Forwarding: Badges are for the sole use of the purchaser. Badges cannot be transferred to any other individual or forwarded to any future event without organizer approval.
-
Event Cancellation: FurFest shall not be liable for performance failures occurring due to Acts of God, war, terrorist acts, government regulation, riots, disasters, pandemics, or strikes. If cancelled, attendees will receive a portion of the cost of their badge/hotel as a credit to their portal account.
-
Certification of Information: You certify that personal information and social media accounts provided are accurate and owned by you. We reserve the right to verify this information.
-
Government Issued Photo ID: You agree to provide a photocopy of your government-issued ID prior to and during the event to verify the accuracy of the information provided at the time of purchase. Your badge is not finalized until this verification process has been completed.
SECTION 4: HOTEL ROOM RESPONSIBILITIES (ROOM CAPTAINS)
1. Room Captain Responsibility: The individual designated as the Room Captain assumes full responsibility for any damages or losses incurred in their assigned hotel room during their stay. 2. Room Bookings: All room bookings and changes for the FurFest host hotel MUST be made through an account on the FurFest portal. Reservations made through other means (e.g., the hotel’s direct website, loyalty perks, or third-party platforms such as Expedia, Booking.com, etc.) will result in automatic cancellation. 3. Hold Charge: At check-in, a hold charge may be placed on the Room Captain's credit card as a security deposit. No room charges (e.g., meals) or incidental charges are permitted to be billed directly to the room. 4. Damage & Biohazard Fees: Upon checkout, the hotel will inspect the room. If damages are found, the Room Captain will receive an itemized bill. A $500 biohazard cleanup fee will be incurred for any unacceptable waste found in the room. Bills must be settled in full within 30 days. 5. Consequences of Non-Payment: Failure to settle the damage bill or hold charge will result in the Room Captain being banned from all future FurFest events and may prompt legal action. 6. Room Deputies & Transfers: Captains may delegate deputies to pick up keys, provided they register prior to the Captain. A Room Captain may transfer their room to another individual who becomes the new Captain and accepts all responsibilities.
