The Friday Night Halftime Show: 80s Lip Sync Showcase!

• When: Friday Night- September 11th, 2026 at exactly 9:00 PM SHARP (The Halftime Show of the DJ Battle)

• Where: The Historic Skating Rink Floor

• Cost: 100% FREE! (There is no extra cost to enter or watch; it is just a fun addition to your Friday night.

 THE OFFICIAL SONG LIST (START PRACTICING!)

We are announcing the tracks right now so you have time to choreograph your own routine, perfect your lip-sync timing, and plan your air-guitar solos.

​

When 9:00 PM hits, the MC will call for volunteers from the crowd to step up and perform these two iconic 80s anthems:

​

SONG 1: The Rock Anthem  "Jump" by Van Halen (1984)

• The Vibe: Massive energy, keyboard mimes, dramatic leaps, and the greatest air-guitar solo you can muster!

​

SONG 2: The Pop/Choreography Anthem  "What Have You Done For Me Lately" by Janet Jackson (1986)

• The Vibe: Serious attitude, sharp choreography, lip-sync accuracy, and total stage dominance!

 HOW IT WORKS

• The Call-Out: At 9:00 PM, the MC will invite anyone who wants to perform onto the floor. You can go up solo, or bring your friends up as your "backup dancers.

​​

• The Performance: You will hit the floor and perform. Do your own routine and make it your own!

  • Note: everyone dances at the same time... did anyone do the same thing at the same time? Great minds think alike!

​

• Fursuits Welcome: Since no live vocals are required, this is the perfect event for fursuiters to show off their acting chops without worrying about muffled microphones.

​

• The Vibe: Pure fun! The crowd will be cheering, the lights will be flashing, and everyone gets to feel like an 80s superstar for a minute.
